My work is an exploration of the landscape through painting and printmaking. Colour and shape are used to create atmosphere and space, portraying the character of the place. The work is figurative. I have studied painting, drawing and printmaking by the atelier method in the studios of practising artists, together with study at the Slade School of Fine Art.

While enjoying travelling and working in Italy and France, I am always glad to return to the inspiration of the Marlborough downs and the Cornish coast.
